Caracalla, 198-217. Antoninianus (Silver, 24 mm, 4.56 g, 12 h), Rome, 217. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. VIC PART P M TR P XX COS IIII P P Caracalla, laureate and in military attire, standing front, head to left, holding globe in his right hand and scepter in his left; at feet to left, Parthian captive seated left; behind, Victory standing front, head to left, crowning the emperor with a wreath in her right hand and holding palm frond in her left.
